Today, I start on the new project. I can’t say much, because, well, for me talking about a project before it feels solid somehow disturbs the momentum. Kind of like a pressure cooker, you don’t take the lid off if you want whatever is inside to come out cooked. I have to keep quiet about the new stuff until the characters have manifested and the story has assumed some sort of globby gelatinous state.
Enough food metaphors for you? Okay, off to write.
